Correct setting up is now essential as many televisions and set top boxes are tuning themselves to weaker stations that appear before the winter hill transmissions in our area. This can lead to channels pixelating or the wrong regional channels being tuned. A common fault currently is the tuner setting up the welsh regional stations on 1,2,3,4 and 5 which is great if you are a welsh speaker but not so good if you want north west news etc.
